To Love and Cherish
I'm still here in Manila, after a month of excitement and a lot of pruning. I was able to attend a Women's conference the other weekend and it was truly amazing to be worshipping with people as crazy as me for the Lord Jesus. They tell me to savor it for I may not be able to do the same for a year as I leave for Oman to work. They tell me soon...how soon, I really do not know.
Anyway, there are so many reasons to celebrate life. I pray that the Lord will provide me a way to have a better life. I am blessed to have loving children who worship God with me. That is more than anyone can ever ask for in this precarious life we live in.
I thank God for the rain. It nourishes the earth and brings life to the thirsty land. It reminds me of my happy childhood - running and playing in the rain... feeling droplets of water upon my face, refreshing me from the heat of the summer.
It's raining again and another summer has ended...
