Perfect Timing

Many good people wait for the best things, and eventually, their patience pays off and they receive their hearts' desires. I've just arrived from Bacolod today after visitng the Joyland Ministries in Silay. It is such a sacred ground for building God's community. Many people have been waiting for their promised land, and when I saw the place, I was reminded of God's faithfulness!

I remember a few years ago when I first saw the vision of a community set apart for God's work, where righteousness and holiness is not an idea but a way of life. With much patience and love for the Philippines, the husband and wife team of Ptr Rick and Suzet Sutcliffe is finally bearing fruit. The initial foundation for the buildings are in place. A water system that would not need electricity is now being dug - using the technoogy of hydraulics...

"Little by little, " God said, "I will make you increase and you will inherit the land." The place (where an international airport is being built nearby) was donated by the mayor; the prefabricated materials will be shipped and donated by a company in Australia; and funds for the ministry is starting to pour in. I was overjoyed to learn that our President will call for a fast and prayer for the nation. Surely the Lord is with us.

I couldn't help but cry last night as I lay my head to sleep and I was overwhelmed by the enormity of it all. God's promises are coming to pass. "If we humble ourselves... the Lord will heal our land."

It took almost five months to make this blog. I believe it is time to rise up and claim our inheritance! God's timing is perfect!
