Traveling Light

According to my friend, I should be in Oman by Saturday. That's three days from today. I am both excited and a bit sad to go. I had wanted to spend as much time with friends and family as I could, but work and school prevent me from doing so.
It's a long way from home and after considering which mobile device will be the best option, I choose the Smart choice. It's cheaper, and it seems more convenient.
I have to leave behind a lot of my heavy baggage - literally and figuratively. My dad was kind enough to simply listen to my woes and tears over the phone...I am truly blessed to have such a loving and empathetic father who understands and loves me in spite of all my flaws.
God loves us all - a loving Father who has accepted us for who we are.=)
I love you too my friend... wherever you are and wherever the Lord leads you and me, I pray we will only glorify Him in our lives.
